SALES ASSISTANT

Job Description

BPS Ltd is looking to hire an enthusiastic individual with a desire for a career in the broadcast sales sector for this newly created role within our expanding business. The successful applicant will need to be multi-skilled, able to work on numerous different projects at once and have the ability to work to tight turnarounds.

The sales assistant will report into the Heads of IT and Marketing and will be responsible for a range of administrative and creative tasks associated with the accurate listing, representation, display and sale of products and services on www.bps-tv.co.uk[gap height=”30px”]

Main duties:

Responsibilities for the sales team will mainly focus on assisting in listing, cataloguing and displaying content (product listings, price catalogues, images, descriptions, promotions, offers etc) on bps-tv.co.uk in a professional, brand relevant and timely manner

  • Accurately listing product lines and regular checking and updating of web prices
  • Sourcing, producing and uploading product and technical data to the website
  • Managing web product image and content libraries
  • Producing and editing graphics and images for marketing materials as required
  • Photographing and editing stills images for use on the company website

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Grade C or above in core G.C.S.E. subjects
  • Must have a can-do attitude be self-motivated and strive to complete tasks correctly and efficiently
  • A team player with a good sense of humour and the communication skills and confidence to liaise with staff members, customers and suppliers alike
  • Have a good level of IT skills and be competent with Microsoft office Suite and Adobe Photoshop. An interest in/talent for graphic design would be an advantage
  • A keen interest in photography and related media
  • Most importantly, must be able to make an excellent cuppa and get on with dogs
