Broadcast & Production Services is one of the leading suppliers of new and used broadcast video and audio equipment in the film, tv and events industry. In 2023, we celebrated our 20th Anniversary.
BPS was established with the simple premise of providing the best products, the best advice and the best service. In 2022 we launched NXTGENbps our brand which sells zero emission, silent, green battery generators to help our customers move to more sustainable products and replace diesel generators in the events and entertainment industry.
We are a dedicated, proactive, and helpful team, but most of all, we are super nice to work with. This is why our customers return to us time after time. Between the dedicated team of 15 talented individuals, we have a combination of over 150 years of experience in TV and Film. Customer service is at the heart of our organisation.
We are proud to be an authorised dealer of Aputure, Canon, Blackmagic, Panasonic, SmallHD, Teradek, Manfrotto, and many more leading brands. We have the flexibility to sell camera packages and small accessories with a personal approach while also supplying large turnkey solutions.
BPS HQ is a charming 19th Century converted Fire Station in Hampton, Middlesex. With close links to the M3, A3 and M25, enabling fast delivery to all areas in and around London, providing a next-day delivery service throughout mainland UK and an express service throughout the world. We have an extensive range of products available for viewing in one of the UK’s largest showrooms for broadcast equipment.
Corporate responsibility: We recognise what’s important in our industry right now. We are an Albert certified supplier and have been awarded the DPP committed to sustainability four leaf accreditation mark. We have partnerships with several industry charities and professional bodies to support diversity and talent development.
All our pets are super human friendly and are an important part of our staff well-being and our culture at BPS. Our dogs are all HPR breeds (hunt, point, and retrieve). Like our talent people, their focus is always on customers needs.
Meet the team
John O'Reilly
Managing Director & Founder
‘Jono’ started BPS from a small garden outbuilding in 2003. Today he leads the team on a day to day basis and has grown the business and customer base ten fold.
A well known face of the industry, Jono has over 35 years experience in the TV and Film industry. He established himself as an impresario in the 1970’s and 80’s promoting the biggest rock bands in UK and Ireland at the time. Jono then worked as a news cameraman before moving into Soho post production machine rooms and transmission centres.

Lee Streeter
Sales Director
Lee has 20 years of industry experience and started his career working in kit hire as a lead technician. This has helped Lee to gain a vast technical knowledge of leading manufacturers and their products. Lee is perfectly placed to offer unrivalled honest advice on cameras, lighting, and audio products available from BPS.
Lee has been at BPS for 11 years and leads the Sales team. He is well known in the industry for his product knowledge and superb customer handling skills.
Lesley Marr
Business Development & Sustainability Director
Lesley has 30 years industry experience in film and TV. Lesley started her career as a VFX designer and quickly progressed to running a Soho post facility. From there she moved to roles at Sky, Deluxe and Technicolor, working on the launch of HD, transformation from tape to file and developing workflows for global localisation and content delivery. Her most recent role was back in Soho at Molinare Post Production running the operations and client services teams.
Lesley regularly contributes to many industry boards and conference panels.
Gail Leafe
Senior Accountant
Gail has been at BPS for over 12 years and has built up a great knowledge base in all areas of the business.
Gail heads up office accounts and administration. Dealing with our suppliers and customers across sales and bought ledger management. Gail has a background across export, sales, marketing, customer care and even HR and during her time at BPS has gained great knowledge of products and manufacturers.
Jamie Thomas
Website Marketing Manager
Jamie heads up our IT and ecommerce site. He is a qualified marketeer and specilises in website development. He is responsible for the development and day to day running of our website and other customer platforms.
Jamie has been at BPS for 2.5 years and previously worked across a number of different business sectors in marketing and web development.
Helen Wise
Financial Director
Helen is the financial director of Broadcast and Production Services. Helen has over 30 years of experience with large and small businesses running accounts teams and business affairs.
Helen has run the BPS accounts department since it’s inception in 2003 and plays a key role in the strategic direction of the business.
Katherine Liley
Sales & Marketing Associate
Katherine is a Professionally trained Actress having graduated from the BA Acting course at, The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, earlier this year (2024). Katherine’s spark for acting started when she joined The Rose Youth Theatre in 2018, where she was lucky enough to be in a few professional productions before embarking on her actor training. You’ll still find Katherine bouncing around The Rose Theatre, in her spare time as a Youth Theatre Director.
Katherine is excited to see where her journey with BPS will go, as she learns the ropes and grows in her position as Sales & Marketing Associate.
Nutmeg
The Nosy One
Nutmeg is a German Shorthaired Pointer and the most energetic edition to the BPS team. She is a keen marketeer with her own Instagram following as well as featuring in many of the BPS campaigns. She is 23kg but still insists on being a lapdog, keeping the sales and marketing team warm, particularly in the winter months.
Whiskey
The Intern
Whiskey is a Fox red labraador and the new intern in the BPS doggy team. He’s learning all about office life and when he’s not snoozing under someone’s desk loves keeping the sales office organised. He empties the bins regularly and helps to keep our marketing activities fresh.
Brogan
The Godfather
Brogan is a German Shorthaired Pointer and the original and founding BPS dog. He is on many mailists and not surprisingly receives more post and phone calls, than anyone else in the office. He sleeps a lot and likes to WFH when his schedule allows.
