Canon CR-N100 4K NDI PTZ Camera – White (6527C004) features a Canon 1/2.3 Type 4k UHD CMOS image sensor capable of 4K UHD video capture at 30p up to 60fps in Full HD, making the PTZ camera a great camera for professional productions.

DIGIC DV6 Image Processor 

Canons DIGIC DV 6 image processor is essential in providing high image quality, advanced performance and convenient operability to the CR-N100. This technology is advanced and is of high quality, and the technology component provides the image-processing power and speed that enables features such as 4K UHD video acquisition, as well as Hybrid AF.

Over Sampling HD Processing 

The camera has a full HD recording and this takes full advantage of the image information, acquired by the 4k sensor. This is to generate the high definition HD video in full. This helps those using the product to produce fully detailed FHD video when fully optimizing the CR-N100.

Hybrid AF

The CR-N100 has a feature of being equipped with Hybrid AF. This is an auto focus system that combines high-precision contrast AF technology and the high-speed phase-difference AF technology to confirm auto focus from the camera. The feature of the hybrid auto focus system allows for you to achieve the auto focus quicker and more reliably.

CANON 4K UHD Lens 

CR-N100 features as 20x optical zoom lens and exhibits a wide horizontal viewing angle of 65.6 degrees. The 29.3mm lens, at the wide end, has the capabilities of capturing extensive scenes in tight shooting spaces, such as indoor events for wide high quality shots. The camera optimizes aspheric lens elements to gather its 4k image quality while minimizing various aberrations over the whole zoom range.

In addition, the structure of the lens of the CR-N100 enables real-time responsiveness in a three- dimensional space. This supports optical image stabilization, which helps to keep the image capture stable by minimizing vibration.

High-precision Drive Mechanism for smooth, Responsive PTZ Performance

The CR-N100 features a PT (Pan, Titl) drive mechanism that allows for  multi-step speed changes from high to low speeds, providing smooth PT in working with the zoom. Furthermore, this can be linked with optional remote controllers and applications to support different video production with a single operator.

The CR-N100 allows for a variable speed pan of .2 degrees-300 degrees per second, and a variable Tilt speed of .2 degrees-180 degrees per second.

Equipped with a Tally Lamp

The CR-N100 comes with a tally lamp which is on the front of the lens that can illuminate red when the camera is shooting. This provides clear visual indications for those operating the camera to see which camera is shooting live.

Scene Models for Impressive Video Expressions 

There are four types of scene modes. Portrait mode. which shows a blurred background while the subject is in a sharp focus. Sports mode enhances capture of objects that are moving. The Low Light mode improves the capturing of bright images even when they are in dark places. Lastly the Spotlight mode, this enhances the capture of beautiful images and spotlighted objects within shot of the lens.

By selecting one of the Scene Modes, capture can be performed without having to change different settings within the camera menu. This therefore allows for the operator to be set up quickly and allows for the operator to start shooting with an impressive image expression.

Built-in ND|HX and SRT Support

The CR-N100 supports for multiple protocols for professionals for an ease of integration. ND|HX is built in to the camera and provides a high quality image, low latency and ease of implementation. SRT is also built in and provides a high quality video rather than unreliable and unpredictable public networks.

Support for Canon XC Protocol

The XC Protocol is an IP protocol that controls Canon video production equipment. With this, the CR-N100 can be controlled remotely to support an array of applications. This includes music, sports, live events, lecture recording, live and virtual meetings, and many more.

Standard Protocol 

The CR-N100 supports the Standard Protocol to remotely control the camera through IP. When connecting, a standard protocol compatible remote controller to the camera over IP or serials. (RS-422) the camera can be operated remotely and the settings can be adjusted by using a remote controller.

The standard protocol is used in video production and other markets and is regarded as an industry standard. It is suitable for operation within different workflows.
