Canon DP-V2421 4K 24″ Reference Monitor
The Canon DP-V2421 is a 24-inch 4K HDR reference display which achieves 1,200 cd/m2 high luminance and the deep black suitable for versatile applications in 4K HDR production. The Canon DP-V2421 has extensive HDR functions, which are perfectly suited for HDR production. It features four 12G-SDI inputs, which can deliver 4K 50P transmission through a single cable. Condensing four SDI cables down to one reduces installation complexity and resource, as well as saving valuable studio space.
A 1,200 cd/m2 high luminance display with both 12G-SDI and HDMI inputs, supporting HDR EOTFs and extensive HDR compatible functions.
High Dynamic Range
With 1,200 cd/m2 high luminance, deep blacks and support for HDR EOTFs based on the ITU-R BT.2100 standard, the DP-V2421 produces exceptionally accurate, repeatable colours.
12G-SDI and advanced interfaces
4 x 12G-SDI interfaces can accept 4 channel 4K inputs, plus current Quad 3G-SDI inputs for 4K are also supported, along with 4K/50P signals via HDMI.
Extensive HDR functions
A built-in HDR capable Waveform Monitor, HDR False colour, HDR-SDR split screen and image brightness monitoring functions ensure consistency of HDR reference levels.
Accurate and repeatable colour reproduction
A Canon designed and innovative LED backlight system, optimised for the LCD panel, achieves a stable, uniform and much wider colour gamut, supporting the ITU-R BT.2020 colour space.
Multi format capability
XYZ, RGB and YCbCr are supported, along with the newly introduced ICtCp signal format.
