The EV2795 is equipped with one USB-C port and three USB-A downstream ports for connecting various periphery devices without needing a USB hub. This is useful, for example, if your laptop only has a limited number USB ports or want to optimise the set-up of workstations for hot desking or in a home office environment. The monitor also has USB-C, HDMI and Display Port video inputs for total connection flexibility.

Video and audio reproduction, rapid data transfer, including network signal and power supply for connected devices – all this and so much more is possible with a single USB-C cable. The EV2795 will become your central docking station to which you can quickly and easily connect your laptop. This is especially practical if you have multiple workstations or switch between working in an office and at home. The 70-watt power supply via USB-C reliably charges small computers or laptops, giving you more desk space since an additional power supply is no longer necessary for the computer.

The monitor’s USB-C ports enable multiple monitors to be connected to the computer via a single cable (using the daisy chain method). This allows for a hassle-free configuration of up to two screens and reduces cable clutter. Being able to view and edit several applications simultaneously also improves comfort and increases efficiency when working. Multiscreen solutions look particularly good when all monitors are similar in design and have an almost frameless UltraSlim format. This is easily achieved by using the USB-C daisy chain and linking several EV2795s. Because there is no need for further chaining from the last screen, the cheaper sister model EV2781 is recommended for this. It can do without the USB-C down port, LAN connection and KVM switch. The design and stand of the EV2795 and EV2781 are identical.

The monitor has a dedicated LAN port to ensure a stable wired network connection. Laptops and PCs require only one USB cable to be connected to the EV2795 to gain network access via the monitor. This is particularly advantageous for laptops that do not have a LAN connection and allows for fast and stable data transfer, which is required for video conferences, for example. As a network device the monitor has its own MAC address.

It has never been easier to use two PCs simultaneously. The EV2795 has an integrated KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) switch for both its USB upstream ports and can be used as a keyboard/mouse switch. For example, a single monitor or even multiple chained monitors can be shared between a private and a company computer when working from home. This ensures that work is uninterrupted and makes for a tidy work area.

There are many things that go into creating a high-precision/high-contrast, bright and crisp screen. We constantly develop our monitor technology, use only high-end materials and carefully calibrate every single monitor during production. As a result of these efforts, you can always rely on excellent image reproduction.

The monitor is capable of all three key elements of excellent image quality: excellent resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, maximum contrast of 1000:1, and stable brightness of up to 350 cd/m². That means you will experience razor-sharp text contours, brilliant graphics, and clear images. Thanks to the high-quality IPS panels with LED backlight, contrasts and colours remain stable from every viewing angle.

An image can only be perfect if the colours are, too. This is why EIZO monitors have a 10-bit look-up table at a minimum, which allows the colour information to be assigned much more precisely than with conventional 8-bit LUTs. The finest colour gradations ensure that gradients are always perfectly displayed, while also offering customised adjustment options. For example, you can adjust the white balance from 4000 K to 10000 K in 500-K intervals.

Overdrive to quickly change images
Fast, faster, overdrive. The overdrive function accelerates switching time so that the grey-grey change takes only 5 ms on average. You can watch films and rapidly changing images without annoying afterglow. FlexScan office monitors are an attractive addition to any office. Their sleek, compact design is elegant and the ideal size. The virtually frameless models are the perfect choice for multi-screen solutions and also look great as a stand-alone monitor, all while offering maximum usability.

The monitor’s appearance can be the key to creating a pleasant working atmosphere. Whether you are at home or in the office, the monitor’s virtually frameless design and ergonomic functionality allows it to fit naturally into your workplace environment. The housing is available in both an elegant black and in white, with matching white cables.

Electrostatic switches are integrated into the front of the EV2795 instead of mechanical buttons. This ensures ease of use while also giving the monitor an extremely elegant look. The speakers and all the controls are also built into the bezel, pointing forward in the direction of the user. They are fully integrated into the monitor’s flat, nearly frameless design to offer an excellent user experience.

FlexScan monitors ensure computer workstations are more ergonomic. In addition to alleviating eye and back strain, the monitors also meet the user’s unique requirements. This is because we don’t believe that you should have to adjust to your workstation – your workstation should adapt to your needs.

At day, at night, bright, dark: No matter when and how you work, the Auto EcoView function continuously measures changes of the ambient light and optimises the monitor with ideal brightness values automatically by using a sensor. The benefits: Annoying glare is reduced, your eyes will not get tired as quickly. A special two-point control takes into account the brightest and darkest environment over the course of the day with the respectively desired screen brightness. Another advantage: Thanks to the automatic brightness adjustment, you will save up to 50% of your electricity costs in comparison to a monitor that is permanently operated at maximum brightness.

Of course, you can also continue to configure the monitor manually. EcoView Index is used for orientation on how environmentally friendly and economical your settings are. To help protect your eyes, EIZO has developed a hybrid technology to control the backlight. This combines the benefits of the otherwise standard PWM (pulse width modulation) and DC (direct current) control. The PWM control uses much higher frequencies than standard PWM methods. The result: a flicker-free viewing experience while maintaining picture quality and colour stability. In addition, compared to pure DC control, you can adjust the brightness to less than 1% of the maximum value in darkly lit rooms. The benefit: Your screen remains free from glare even under these conditions.

The EV2795 offers a perfect, non-glare surface. By minimising glare by diffusing the reflected light, the EV2795 effectively protects your eyes from straining. This keeps your eyes from getting as tired and allows you to sit comfortably in front of the monitor, without having to sit in a forced position to prevent glare.

Less blue light

Bright, blue light emitted by LED backlights of some monitors can be detrimental to workspace ergonomics. When editing documents, paper mode simulates reading on actual paper by using the appropriate settings for contrast, brightness, and colour temperature. This reduces the amount of blue light. When used in combination with the Auto EcoView brightness settings, blue light is reduced by a total of up to 80%.

Ergonomic and stable: the adjustable stand has ergonomics in focus. You can turn, swivel, and tilt the monitor in the way that is most comfortable for your back, neck and sitting posture. It can be continuously adjusted in height and lowered almost to the table or the base of the stand. This allows you to position the top row of the picture ergonomically below eye level.

Impressive features mean greater comfort. Our intelligent software solutions and intuitive controls enable you to easily manage your settings as well as operate and deploy the display as a single-screen or multi-monitor solution at work each day.

Pre-set colour modes optimise the viewing of images, texts or films. Because it makes a difference whether you are watching a film, editing a picture, surfing the net, or writing texts. At the touch of a button, you set the respective pre-set for brightness, gamma correction and colour temperature. For example, the Paper mode simulates the pleasant contrast of printed paper, which is easy on the eyes when reading and prevents fatigue.

The Button Guide provides all functions at a glance. Touching the button is enough and the screen will show all functions and the corresponding control panel. In addition to the on-screen menu, you can conveniently control the EV2795 by using the Screen InStyle software on a Windows PC. The configuration options include colour reproduction, energy saving options, and ergonomic functions. In multi-screen systems, the settings can be applied synchronously to all connected screens with Screen InStyle.

System administrators can centrally manage and control monitors connected to the network with Screen InStyle installed using the Screen InStyle Server application. This optimises power consumption and simplifies asset management of the monitors. Workload reduction for administrators: The software allows you to create a default setup for all relevant monitor settings. This setup can be distributed to the connected monitors via the local network which facilitates the roll-out process.
