Schoeps A 20 S Elastic Suspension Swivel Shock Mount

The use of the A 20 is recommended if the solid-borne sound insulation should be better than with a rigid stand clamp.

The base has a 5/8″-27 NS internal thread with adapter for 3/8″ and 1/2″ included. A special clamp secures the microphone cable. This is necessary with the A 20 and advantageous with the A 20 S. The microphone can be tilted to any angle.

The A 20 S offers stiffer elastics than the A 20, which is ideal for when accessories such as CUT filters need to be added to the microphone. They provide a secure hold that significantly reduces vibrations on the microphone. A specialized clamp is integrated for cable management. The mount has 5/8″-27 NS threads, and includes an adapter for 3/8″ and 1/2″ threads.
