Tamron 17-28mm F2.8 – Sony-FE (7917285) lens is designed for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras and achieves all of the benefits of a fast F/2.8 aperture in an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens. It has an amazingly compact and lightweight design, weighing just 420g and having an overall length of just 99mm. The compact size provides excellent balance and is easy to carry, especially with no barrel extension whilst focusing or zooming, making it great for travelling.
The 17-28mm RXD offers a large F/2.8 aperture throughout the entire zoom range and delivers edge-to-edge high resolution and contrast. The combination of ultra-wide-angle focal length, large constant F/2.8 aperture, and a Minimum Object Distance (MOD) of 19cm (at the wide-angle end), encourages richly expressive and creative photography in a multitude of scenarios.
The 17-28mm zoom’s AF drive system is powered by the RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) AF motor unit that enables it to deliver high-speed, high-precision, and superbly quiet operation, making it suitable for shooting virtually noise-free video as well as still photographs. In addition, moisture-resistant construction and a hydrophobic fluorine coating repels fingerprints and dirt. The 17-28mm RXD is also fully compatible with various camera-specific features including Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF. Collection
Free Collection is available at our showroom in Hampton, please select this option at the payment stage at the checkout. Please allow one hour to pick and prepare your order for you so it is ready for you when you arrive. Collections must be made at our office during the hours of 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon to Thurs) and 9 am to 5 pm (Friday).
Standard Delivery
Standard delivery costs £5.99 including VAT and will be sent out by Royal Mail or APC, this service can take 3-5 working days.
FREE UK Delivery On Orders Over £250
We offer FREE standard delivery on all orders over £250 Ex VAT to the UK mainland. Mon-Fri working days only. Saturday deliveries are not guaranteed.
Next Working Day Delivery
UK mainland orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. To qualify for next-day delivery orders must be placed before 2 pm Mon – Thur. Orders placed after 2 pm Thursday will be dispatched Friday for Monday delivery, excluding Bank Holidays. The charge for this service is £12.00 plus VAT. This service is only available for products that are in stock.
Saturday Delivery
Order before 2pm on Friday for Saturday deliveries. Saturday delivery cost £27.50 including VAT – this is only for the UK mainland.
