Description
Tamron 17-70mm X-Mount Lens (7917709) features a maximum aperture of F2.8 across the entire 4.1x zoom ratio that covers the focal length range of 17-70mm (the full-frame equivalent of 25.5-105mm). Its small and lightweight design is equipped with VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism to minimise camera shake, which also leverages AI technology when shooting video. Focusing is both fast and quiet with Tamron’s RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) AF motor and the optical design has great control, limiting focus breathing to a minimum.
These two features give this lens great credentials for videographers and stills shooters to create outstanding results using a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. For added versatility, the 17-70mm F2.8 offers a really close MOD (Minimum Object Distance) of 19cm at the wide-angle end and 39cm at the telephoto end.
The lens is well protected from the elements with Moisture-Resistant Construction having seals to protect the moving surfaces of the lens, along with a Fluorine Coating to the front element to make it water and oil-repellent as well as easy to clean. Its 67mm filter size is the same as the Tamron 18-300mm for Fuji X mount, making it easy to swap Polarizers, ND filters etc. between lenses.
Its broad zoom range and high image quality will help you to capture all the excitement and discoveries with the finest possible detail, either for photography or videography, with its fast F2.8 aperture, VC stabilization, and moisture-resistant construction.

Free Collection is available at our showroom in Hampton, please select this option at the payment stage at the checkout. Please allow one hour to pick and prepare your order for you so it is ready for you when you arrive. Collections must be made at our office during the hours of 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon to Thurs) and 9 am to 5 pm (Friday).
Standard Delivery
Standard delivery costs £5.99 including VAT and will be sent out by Royal Mail or APC, this service can take 3-5 working days.
FREE UK Delivery On Orders Over £250
We offer FREE standard delivery on all orders over £250 Ex VAT to the UK mainland. Mon-Fri working days only. Saturday deliveries are not guaranteed.
Next Working Day Delivery
UK mainland orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. To qualify for next-day delivery orders must be placed before 2 pm Mon – Thur. Orders placed after 2 pm Thursday will be dispatched Friday for Monday delivery, excluding Bank Holidays. The charge for this service is £12.00 plus VAT. This service is only available for products that are in stock.
Saturday Delivery
Order before 2pm on Friday for Saturday deliveries. Saturday delivery cost £27.50 including VAT – this is only for the UK mainland.
