Bolin R9-418N NDI High Bandwidth 4K30 PTZ Camera (R9-418N) allows you to capture professional 4K or HD video for your video conferencing, education, house of worship, or other video applications. This remotely controllable PTZ camera features a dome-style housing, and it allows you to capture up to 4K30 resolution video and output via HDMI, 6G-SDI, or IP dual streaming via its Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet interface. This model also comes high-bandwidth NDI 6-ready and supports high-quality, low-latency NDI|HX3 streaming.
Additional features include a 18x optical zoom, a ±170° panning range, -30 to 90° tilting range, auto or manual focus, a wide dynamic range, and serial/IP control. It also offers a mic/line audio input and output via LEMO-type connector and a stereo 3.5mm mic/line input, and it features a durable magnesium alloy housing. An SFP+ slot is available for an optional module to add 12G-SDI optical fiber for fast, long-distance extension.
The large, low-noise 1″ 14.2MP Sony CMOS sensor ensures a high signal-to-noise ratio, while advanced 2D/3D noise-reduction technology further reduces image noise, so an even sharper image is delivered in low light. The RJ45 Ethernet port allows you to control and configure the camera via IP, and it also allows simultaneous dual streaming via IP for a live Internet stream.
High-Quality Image Sensor
Equipped with a large, back illuminated 1″ Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor, the R9-418N camera produces brilliant broadcast-quality color images in 4K30 with excellent low-light sensitivity. Comprehensive image parameter setting like Black Level, Color Matrix, tally lights, and genlock for professional applications. The camera can also be operated in 23.98p/24p mode for cinematic video.
Video Output
R9 PTZ cameras deliver IP streaming video to the network with local HDMI 2.0 and 6G-SDI. This model also features support for high-bandwidth NDI streaming, and it supports NDI|HX3 and NDI 6, and it features an SFP+ slot for a separately available 12G-SDI optical fiber module.
Video Settings
Image parameter adjustments include exposure, focus, iris, shutter speed, white balance, gamma, wide dynamic range, E-flip/mirror, and more, with configurable video settings.
Smart Focus and Exposure
The camera is built with Bolin’s latest AI-powered face analytical engine, which enables precise smart focus and smart exposure to bring a greater level of user experience and effective image-quality improvement in a complex user environment.
Audio
HDMI, SDI, and IP video streaming signals have high-quality audio streaming embedded with support for mic-in and line-in audio inputs.
PTZ Movement
Extremely quiet and smooth operation for pan/tilt movements combined with enhanced adaptive, variable, and super slow speed control provides accurate and effective operation experiences.
Remote Control and Setup
The camera camera supports serial RS-232/RS-422 control and VISCA-over-IP control over a network. Remotely control pan, tilt, and zoom movements with full access to the camera’s image parameter settings via a keyboard controller or IR controller.
Ease of Installation and Use
Use optional Bolin mounting accessories and connect one network cable with PoE+ enabled Ethernet network/PoE device, or use the included RJ45 port cable adapter for serial control to make the installation easy.
Always up to Date
Free and easy firmware updates are available via the IP interface to keep camera features and performance up to date, even for customized function upgrades.
