Canon 10×16 KAS S 8K BCTV zoom lens. The 10×16 KAS S is proof of Canon’s exceptional optical technology, meeting the demand for high-resolution 8K production in sports and documentary. Expanding Canon’s line-up of ultra-high-resolution 1.25” 8K broadcast camera lenses, which includes the UHD-DIGISUPER 51 and 7×10.7 KAS S, the 10×16 KAS S offers impeccable optical performance in a compact form factor.
Equipped with special glass elements such as fluorite, Hi-UD lenses and wide-diameter aspherical lenses, the 10×16 KAS S helps reduce chromatic aberrations, spherical aberrations and other effects that diminish image quality. Weighing just 2.94kg, the 10×16 KAS S is precisely engineered to achieve 8K performance in such a portable and durable lens. With a 10x optical zoom from 16mm – 160mm and a constant f/2.8 aperture, this lens achieves consistent image quality across the entire zoom range, from wide to telephoto shots. Along with the full range of Canon’s 4K broadcast lens line up, the addition of the 10×16 KAS S in the 8K broadcast lens range addresses the current demands of the industry, while supporting the production needs of the future.
Cinematic look with 4K/8K Optical Quality
Designed to produce sharp images from centre to outer edges, even when paired with 8K cameras. The lens also produces the beautiful warm colour tones synonymous with Canon’s cinema lens family.
Wide Focal Length Coverage
The 10x zoom lens can handle a wide range of shooting situations, from 25mm wide angle, to 250mm telephoto, in a single lens. This range can be pushed to 375mm with the built-in 1.5x Optical Extender.
Supports Super 35mm and Full Frame cameras
While the lens fully supports Super 35mm, the built-in extender that increases the image size will make the lens becomes compatible with 35mm Full Frame sensor cameras too.
The ergonomic drive unit can be added or removed to give greater flexibility and versatility for your production requirements.
The lens mount can also be interchanged between EF & PL mount* providing even greater value and flexibility.

Multiple Data Communication Functions and Support
The lens is compliant with a wide-range of communication standards thanks to the versatile lens-to-camera communication function which supports EF communication (EF mount) and Cooke /i Technology (PL mount). 12-pin serial communication is also supported for broadcast standards, as well as a 20-pin connector which outputs accurate lens positional data for various virtual systems.

Please note, for next-day shipping options the product must show in stock in the product status and be before the cut-off period. If the product does not show in stock most items will give an approximate lead time.
Collection
Free Collection is available at our showroom in Hampton, please select this option at the payment stage at the checkout. Please allow one hour to pick and prepare your order for you so it is ready for you when you arrive. Collections must be made at our office during the hours of 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon to Thurs) and 9 am to 5 pm (Friday).
Standard Delivery
Standard delivery costs £5.99 including VAT and will be sent out by Royal Mail or APC, this service can take 3-5 working days.
FREE UK Delivery On Orders Over £250
We offer FREE standard delivery on all orders over £250 Ex VAT to the UK mainland. Mon-Fri working days only. Saturday deliveries are not guaranteed.
Next Working Day Delivery
UK mainland orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. To qualify for next-day delivery orders must be placed before 2 pm Mon – Thur. Orders placed after 2 pm Thursday will be dispatched Friday for Monday delivery, excluding Bank Holidays. The charge for this service is £12.00 plus VAT. This service is only available for products that are in stock.
Saturday Delivery
Order before 2pm on Friday for Saturday deliveries. Saturday delivery cost £27.50 including VAT – this is only for the UK mainland.
