Panasonic LUMIX S 70-300mm, Compact Telephoto Zoom Lens – L Mount (S-R70300E) is a full frame “S Series” L-mount lens. Boasts outstanding image quality across the frame, possible to render exceptionally impressive stills and videos. Provides high-speed, high-precision AF and Dual I.S. for agile mobility in a wide range of shooting situations including sports, animals, portraits, aircrafts, and vehicles.

Adopting state-of-the-art optical technology, the optimum alignment of 17 lens elements in 11 groups including one UED (Ultra Extra-low Dispersion) lens, two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses and one UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) effectively suppresses both axial chromatic aberration at the tele-end and chromatic aberration of magnification at the wide-end. Specifically, the UHR lens achieves uniform image quality from the centre to the edges of the image while contributing to the ability to optimise the compact size of the lens unit.

Offering an outstanding minimum focusing distance of only 0.54m, the Panasonic S 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 MACRO O.I.S. achieves maximum magnification of 0.5x (at 300mm), realising half life-size macro photography and videography. The rounded aperture with its 11-bladed iris diaphragm provides a beautifully circular bokeh throughout the entire zoom range.

A combination of the O.I.S.(Optical Image Stabiliser) in the lens and the Body I.S. in the LUMIX S Series cameras, the “Dual I.S.” (Image Stabiliser) system compensates for movements such as handshakes, giving the possibility to use a 5.5-stop slower shutter speed. The focus control with a maximum 480 fps high-speed sensor drive realises fast, high-precision AF.

Despite all its rich features, the LUMIX S 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 MACRO O.I.S. is compact and lightweight allowing for ease of mobility. Integrated into its design are features to enable dust/splash resistance. Withstands are used under harsh conditions even at 10 degrees below zero. In addition, the fluorine coating on the front element repels water and oil. The filter diameter is 77 mm.

70-300mm Zoom with Excellent Image Quality
The lens optical design is compact and lightweight, yet it provides a 300mm zoom at the telephoto end to dynamically bring your subject, such as wildlife or sports, up close. The powerful zoom gives you increased creative flexibility when shooting outdoors.
Superb Close-up Performance

With a minimum focusing distance of 0.54m* and maximum magnification of 0.5x (at 300m), the 70-300mm allows you the freedom to shoot outstanding macro photography. Close-up views of small and sensitive subjects, such as birds and butterflies, can be easily captured from a distance.

Beautiful Rendition of Light
The 11-blade circular aperture diaphragm features optimised blade shape and arrangement. This produces a beautiful rendition of light sources within your images, such as sunlight shining through tree leaves and colourful illuminations, by creating soft and exquisitely attractive beams of light.
Optical Image Stabilisation for Ultra-Sharp Photos

Combining the O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabiliser) in the lens and the Body I.S. in your LUMIX S Series camera*, the 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 powerfully compensates for handshake, making it possible to use a 5.5-stop slower shutter speed.**

* 5-Axis Dual I.S. 2 can be used with the camera LUMIX S1H, S1R, S1 and S5, as of February 18, 2021.

** Based on the CIPA standard (Yaw/Pitch direction: focusing distance f=300mm, when LUMIX S5 is used).

Dust, Splash, and Freeze Resistant Design

The LUMIX S 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 MACRO O.I.S. is designed to keep shooting even in the toughest conditions thanks to its dust and splash resistant construction, even in temperatures as low as -10 °C.

Please note, for next-day shipping options the product must show in stock in the product status and be before the cut-off period. If the product does not show in stock most items will give an approximate lead time.

Collection
 Free Collection is available at our showroom in Hampton, please select this option at the payment stage at the checkout. Please allow one hour to pick and prepare your order for you so it is ready for you when you arrive. Collections must be made at our office during the hours of 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon to Thurs) and 9 am to 5 pm (Friday).

Standard Delivery
Standard delivery costs £5.99 including VAT and will be sent out by Royal Mail or APC, this service can take 3-5 working days.

Next Working Day Delivery
UK mainland orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. To qualify for next-day delivery orders must be placed before 2 pm Mon – Thur. Orders placed after 2 pm Thursday will be dispatched Friday for Monday delivery, excluding Bank Holidays. The charge for this service is £12.00 plus VAT. Saturday Delivery
