Sony VCT-14 Tripod Adapter For Port. Cameras/Camc. (VCT-14) features a robust, all-metal construction and provides rigid mounting of broadcast SD / HD camcorders.  We have also noticed that for DSR camcorders from the DSR-300 upwards this plate eliminates wobble that occurs with the slightly cheaper VCT-U14 model.

Please note that the VCT-14 is not suitable for use with the DSR-250P
