Note: This product is an additional 5kWh Battery case unit designed for use with the NXTGEN BPS 4kW/5kWh Portable Battery – The Meerkat.
The Meerkat portable battery storage system is designed to provide portable electrical power up to a maximum of 16A, with a 230VAC industrial output.
The system is made up of one battery box and one power conversion box, connected through the supplied cable. The boxes are stacked on top of each other and connected to create the full system. Each box has its own carry handles and wheels for added portability.
The 5,000Wh lithium-ion battery can be charged separately from the power conversion box though its integrated charging system, when the AC charger cable is connected to the charger input. Additional battery units can be purchased for hot swapping on location.
An LED indicator is provided to show the charge state of the battery when charging or discharging.
The 4kW/5kWh Portable Battery creative name is taken from inspiration from the teamwork among meerkats within nature.

60KG Weight
The Meerkat weighs only 60KG and is suitable for portable power requirements. The powerQuad 5kWh battery weighs only 44KG whilst the power conversion box weighs only 16KG
