Sony BP-U70 72Wh Battery (BP-U70) is a high-performance 72Wh lithium-ion battery compatible with select Sony professional video cameras, such as the FS7 (see below). It’s designed to communicate status data to the camera, and remaining capacity is displayed on the camera’s viewfinder.
Battery status data is continuously communicated to the camera. Remaining capacity is displayed on the camera’s LCD monitor and viewfinder, allowing operators to monitor battery status easily and accurately while shooting.
The BP-U70 offers significantly higher capacity while having the same charging time than the previous generation BP-U60.
