JVC DT-U31E Production Monitor

New professional-grade UHD/4K monitors for production and broadcast applications

The DT-U31E is a 31-inch UHD model. The monitor feature 10-bit panels and 14-bit colour processing, to ensure high-quality image processing and display.

The DT-U Series monitors support both 12G SDI or quad 3G HD-SDI input, along with HDMI 2.0, with HDCP 2.2 for 4K input support. Thanks to their high resolution and four separate HD-SDI inputs, they can also be used as quad-split displays, ideal for broadcast monitoring applications. Both monitors support HDR functions, including Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) and PQ-3 formats. Also supported is a range of camera log LUTs, including S-Log, C-Log and JVC’s J-Log. Colour gamut support includes BT709 and BT2020, with automatic calibration possible via using an optional USB sensor which is connected directly to the monitor. Plus there’s a waveform monitor and vectorscope on both monitors, together with 16-channel audio metering.

The two new DT-U models feature an expansion slot, for which a number of options are planned, including a fibre to SFP adapter.
